Yes I can read, I already told you that if I were a coach I wouldn’t give a damn about the current state of the roster. I’d have enough confidence in myself to able to be recruit well enough and develop the players that are already there. I’d be much more concerned about the things such as the institutional support of the prospective school and the facilities.
Mizzo struggles to control their western market also. KC is very much a KU/KState market. There's a reason that the BIG XII still holds their basketball championship there...tourny could easily be moved to Wichita, Ames or OKC to appease northern conference members.I don't think Mizzou is a better job, I would say Ole Miss is a better job than Mizzou or Arkansas. Mizzou is the hardest to recruit because they're a Big Ten school in the SEC.
He just takes advantage of it. He's not calling the media himself to say he's a candidate.
He advances his own agenda because that equals a bigger paycheck.Lots of famous people have burner accounts to advance their own agenda because they are obsessed with social media and media in general, he is one of them. Yes it is very possible if not likely that he leaks, and other coaches, information to the press.
Who gives a damn about the roster? You are seeing with Pruitt and the issues he faced 2 seasons after the last coach. No one is going to walk into Arkansas and be above .500 in two years. No one. Ole Miss is the only job opening that has the pieces in place to challenge for bowl eligibility in year 1.
Also can you not read????? Mizzou's roster is head and shoulders above any opening right now. The only negative for Mizzou is they have no money.
Out of all the schools, Arkansas offers only one thing the others don't have and thats the unlimited amount of money that can be spent on the coach.
The roster situation is exactly why Arkansas is going to hand out a 5-6 year contract over someone with 4-5 years.
Anyone that follows football in this league knows that Arkansas is hands down the worst job in the current state for the forseeable future. Mizzou has the best roster of current openings but has horrible finances and can't really commit to new facilities and stuff that new coaches want.
In terms of current state of roster and program finances, Ole Miss is the best opening as they have tons of young skill position players. Arkansas doesn't have that combo and neither does Mizzou.
To sit here and act like Arkansas is the best of the worst jobs in the SEC is pure lunacy.
Ole Miss went 4-8, a whole two games better than Arkansas lol. They have a lot of young players that started this year but so does Arkansas:
QB: 4* true freshman KJ Jefferson
WR: 4* true freshman Treylon Burks
WR: 4* true freshman Trey Knox
WR: true sophomore Mike Woods
TE: 4* true freshman Hudson Henry (didn't start but likely will next season)
Arkansas also had the 2nd youngest two-deep defense in the country. Ole Miss and Arkansas (when Freeze isn't cheating) recruit basically the same. I think they are similar jobs but Ole Miss has never even won the division while Arkansas has three times and the Ole Miss facilities aren't very good. I do think they probably have more to work with right now but some are underestimating just how bad of a coach Morris was, a lot of the players who transferred out under him have done much better at their new schools.
Also read where pretty much half of Ole Miss' team is threatening to transfer after they fired Matt Luke.
Maybe so but that job is poison...They just fired a guy after a year and a half on the job...They have the worst roster in the SEC...Taking that job right now is seriously risking your career as a head coach...They would be better off hiring an top assistant or up and coming coach to figure it out and get some decent recruits in there...Regardless they are going to have to give the new coach time to get things started...It's a total train wreck over there.Arkansas is the best job opening in the SEC right now. The facilities and budget are far better than Mizzou and OM. Facilities and budget are far bigger drivers than what the current roster is.
