Pretty sure Florida and south Carolina refuse to let that happen. Was talking to a guy yesterday who is a trustee at Clemson, apparently Clemson has already voted to join the SEC, they are now waiting on an invite. They have also made a pact with FSU to where both of them join or neither. He also said that Virginia Tech has voted to stay with the ACC...He thought that the SEC moving to 16 teams would happen starting in 2013.
NO NO and NO...although it would be nice to add those teams to our fine league. The SEC will not tolerate Texas punking the rest of the league in having its own network and essentially cutting out the other teams in the league financially. I strongly think in the end we add Texas A&M, Clemson, Florida State, and perhaps Georgia Tech or Va Tech. I would put A&M and Florida State in the west and Clemson and Georgia Tech or Va tech in the east. Case closed.
