Someone at Texas reported that the SEC gave preference to existing members wishes for locations as evidenced by Texas having to go to Ark & A&M.

Yeah, and that’s why Alabama, Georgia & Tennessee are playing their Tx/OU games on the road?

I’m telling you, it won’t be long before the SEC regrets inviting Texas. Their attitude sucks. And evidently they don’t carry much weight with ESPN as no additional money is solely the reason the SEC didn’t move to 9 games.

SEC bands need to learn "texas has a whorehouse in it" and play it unmercifully anytime the shorthorns have the ball. texas are the biggest posers in college sports. No one does less with all the "advantages" (money). I look forward to Vanderbilt stomping their a$$es one of these days soon.

Hopefully the SEC isn't as wimpy as the Big12, who penalizes players for doing it on the field.

Wanna bet. Fla players give the gator chomp anytime anywhere but if an opposing player does it, 15 yds. It’ll be the same with the horns sign

I don't know how to break it to them, but half their conference games will be on the road and the other half at home unless they have a neutral site like Jax, Arlington or Texas State Fairgrounds

If they are lucky, they play Vandy on the road and get to hit up the bars on Broadway.

I want them in the SEC to learn humility. I think we are well-positioned to face them now.

The first time Ole Miss rakes them over the coals, and Ark, and USCe, UK, and even Vandy.
Their 10 gallon hats will have to be fitted smaller after a couple of seasons here.
Arkansas has the 5th most Wins vs the Horns, and aTm has the 2nd most, 36.

No additional money is coming this year which is why they didn’t go to 9 this year. 9 games and additional money will be coming next year.

The sooner they learn that it’s not going to be the “SEC featuring the Texas Longhorns“, the better.

The OOC games that the SEC cancelled with OK were hosting both Georgia and Tennessee. so that seems like fair play.

Bama playing on the road was probably due to Saban running his mouth and complaining. And Bama will be hosting Texas this year. so again seems fair for them to be back on the road.

their attitude may suck, but they won't run anything. they were a big fish in a SMALL pond. and now they are swimming with sharks, all who may not be as big as them but are FAR more vicious.

The Tennessee/OU game cancelled for ‘24 was to be in Knoxville. The Norman game was to be in ‘20 but cancelled due to Covid
