From Rivals:

NOBLE
JOHNSON

A friendship between Johnson and 2022 Michigan signee Alex Orji could have the Wolverines in a sneaky position for the four-star out of Rockwall (Texas), but they will be met with heavy resistance from schools such as Tennessee, Washington and Mississippi.

Johnson is still feeling out programs and welcoming in more interest while also exploring the option of playing on the defensive side of the ball. But schools that have already been invested have a leg up on the rest of the competition.

Just offered by Clemson after he worked out there last week. Has been to UL. Don't believe he's been here before. Left off schools who had offered like Michigan, LSU and A&M.

Here's what Andrew Hattersley of the Texas A&M 247 site wrote last month:

"Johnson made a strong impression on the A&M staff during a camp last summer. He left with some feedback from [Aggies wide receivers coach] Dameyune Craig though that he needed to improve his quickness and that’s exactly what he has done this spring.

“It was more like a reassurance that I can do this,” Johnson told Hattersley last month. “Because my sophomore going into junior year I went to an A&M camp and we did one-on-ones and everything, went through a whole camp with verticals. Coach Craig just said, 'I like you and all, but you just need to be faster.' The drive home really just got me, and I was like I need to get better. So I got faster, went to the Rivals camp, ran a 4.49 and coach Craig gave me a phone call said you've gotten faster and then he just pulled the trigger and offered me.”

In early September against highly ranked Lake Travis, Johnson produced 12 receptions, 254 yards and four touchdowns via vertical routes, screens, and 50/50 balls.

Would be cool to land him, but at ATM, Noble Johnson would be receiving from Max Johnson. The Yell Leaders will personally fund that NIL.
