First he hits the 3-pointer, now he has his own thread on VolNation. Quite the day for young Tyler.

Wasn't at game. What had to happen to get the tenders?

Alright, this has been in my fan closet for a while:
In the 90's, Pat was at Northgate Mall in Chattanooga. She had just released one of her books. "Summit" or something catchy. My mom and sister were there for her autograph and kept me there for 2 hrs. I was maybe 11 or 12, and for some reason got my picture made with dude (tyler summit, then 7 or 8 I guess)

I bet that is awesome for him to wake up this morning and see his highlight on Sportcenter. Or maybe he saw it last night partying and is sleeping in the morning I don't know.

Just showed my 10 yr old daughter the picture of her and Tyler when she was 3 and tyler was 11. We use to tell her it was her boyfriend. We hit the Lady Vols anytime they are in our area and caught them at Geo Washington when Tyler was there. He gladly posed for the pic! Great kid!

How cool is it to play on the court that bears his last name!?

I bet he's probably made 50,000 shots in TBA.

Well, I guess it's great that he is on the team, but it seems grossly unfair to me to have him make the team when any other player with his talent level would have no prayer of making the team as a walk-on. Guess the name plays well at UT.

He doesn't take up a scholarship, he has spent more time around the Tennessee program than CBP, and he easily got the biggest two biggest cheers of the night when he entered the game and then again when he hit that 3.

I have zero problems with him being part of the practice squad.

Still not as bad as Fulmer's daughter getting a softball scholarship as IIRC never played a meaningful inning.

That said, he's probably the worst player to ever wear a UT bball uniform.
