The fact that Pearl can get both Prince and Smith is outstanding. The reality is Pearl is going all in this year, that's why he didn't recruit very much high school talent this year, he went after older players.

I think he's going for it all this year also, but I did think that he recruited hs, Prince and Smith just fell in his lap. I think he probably new about Smith for quite awhile and then pulled the plug on some of the recruits he was in on this past month. Probably never know for sure though.

And you must be Bruce Pearl. All I'm saying is that I'm not going to get over-excited until it's official.

It isn't 100%. He is released and has stated that the only school he is looking at is UT unless something major falls through. He would still have to win a hardship appeal which I don't think would be too much of a hurdle in his case.

I've read that he can. Watch some of the youtube videos in other threads we is extremely long and quick. He averaged 1.5 steals last year.

He's also great on the offensive glass and is good passing the ball.

One more great thing is that he is a good FT shooter.

Yeah, and did you see how high the ball was over the rim on that dunk over Brandon Wright? It was practically at the top of the backboard.
