Honeslty i feel sorry for the guy, but hey... he did this to himself. Im glad he isnt throwing his life away, you have to give him props for finishing school.

I'm going to go along with your post and imagine that you are being 100% geniune instead of using sarcasm. If you are using sarcasm than my apologies. Either way, I'm pretty sure your comments and attitude are leaning more towards the "bandwagon" side of being a fan. To say you hate him is a bit much you think? I mean, just looking at the public things surrounding Tyler, he sounds like he's had it pretty rough. I'm not taking up for him or making excuses for carrying guns but he's owning up to it like a man. If you truely did believe in Tyler as a player and a person than maybe this did him more good than bad. I'd be thankful that he got caught carrying guns and pray that he has the smarts not to put himself in this situation again. If he's packin' guns around the wrong people than he's likely to get a hole in his head instead of being kicked off of a college basketball team. Personally, I hope he's allowed to finish up his last year so he can get a degree and hope he works like hell to improve before the draft. Even though he carries a lot of extra baggage now, if he admits and owns up to his mistakes than he should be given a second chance and will probably get a shot to play in the NBA. I don't understand why people like you don't realize that these 18-23 year old kid / adults do make mistakes and at the end of the day are just human. If your a real fan, you'd support him through this and hope he changes things around. But if not, than stick with your bandwagon label.

Let me just say that all of the facts about Tyler and the whole situation will never be told. Did he make a huge mistake? Yes, of course. I can empathize with all the fans who are disgusted and disappointed in what happened here and with the football situation and how some feel that kids nowadays don't appreciate what they have. Also, many have said that by being a part of what happened Tyler was not a good leader for the team, but one thing needs to be mentioned. Tyler met with CBP and took the majority of the blame knowing that he only needs so few hours to get his degree. He hoped that by doing so the other three players would be able to come back to the team and finish up at Tennessee and get their lives in order. He sacrificed what he had left for the betterment of the others. Now, I know there will people who say that he shouldn't have been there in the first place and I agree, but at least he is accepting the punishment and trying to move on. From what I was told, he may try and go to Europe and play there until time for the draft.
