He is Turk's cousin, and I just noticed on Scout where we had offered him. I don't have a subscription, so I couldn't really tell much about it. What position does he play, and where do we stand with him? Thanks in advance.

GO VOLS!!!

He does play DB, and right now UT and UConn are the only schools to offer him. Considering Turk played for us and was very successful and a fan favorite, I think we are in good shape with him.

Ummm, Antwine Perez. He was Turk's cousin too and that didn't help us much.

There is no way we could lose to a New England school in this recuiting battle (if we really want the little McBride)

Antwine Perez went to USC. The battle between TN and USC can be a totally different story...... (My Patrick Truner......:cray: :cray: :cray: :cray: :cray: )

Yes, mindblowing! Because Turner has proven to be a stud so far at USC? He might break records, who knows. But he has not done anything yet so lets just wait and see how good he ends up.

Your point would be well-taken, except for the fact that Dwayne Jarrett and Steve Smith (both likely 2nd round draft picks) were on the same team as Turner. This coming season will be the first where Turner is the No. 1 WR. He won't disappoint.

Again, I am not disagreeing that he could very well be a stud. But there is no way you can say that without a doubt he "wont disappoint." Highly talented players disappoint all the time.

All I've heard from the USC camp is that their WRs have disappointed this spring and that the QBs have really had to adjust.

I saw Patrick Turner do amazing things in high school

High School, Premier D1, High School, Premier D1, hmmmm.....I'll hold my judgement until I actually see him do something on the field in college. I saw Daniel Broooks do some amazing things in high school too.

Never argued that he'd be great in college. Just saying the potential is there. I could care less what he does
