Terrible for Bama. Their offense is in desperate need of a boost and Prothro was their only hope. Best of luck to Bammer and Prothro.

This will be an interesting test for modern medicine. If Prothro can come back, I'm not sure what injuries, short of something completely catastrophic, that one can't come back from.

I think I remember hearing that, in relative terms, it wasn't THAT bad. A clean break can always heal better.

he said 07' is his goal but that doesnt mean he is for sure back then. I hope he is, he had a good career ahead of him. Its a shame he got hurt on wasted bammer blow out minutes too.

I can tell you that if that's my leg dangling like a limp noodle, it's "catastrophic." That was a horrible sight.

Best of luck for a successful recovery to Prothro. He's got mad skills and is a lot of fun to watch. I figured it would be 2 years before he was back as close to 100% as he'll ever be.
