Scrolling through Twitter and seeing posts about people speculating about military movement throughout the U.S. I watched the Benny Johnson livestream discussing this issue.

I suspect it is only for training purposes and normal. However, I have seen some crazy theories.

People have claimed that Yellowstone is about to erupt, a major New Madrid quake will take place, and these incidents will severely weaken America for attack.

What do you all think? If it’s not training, how long could the military hide that something major was about to take place?

How would we know an earthquake was about to hit the New Madrid fault line?

I don't think there is an accurate way to really predict that a 4.7 earthquake will strike 20 miles northwest of memphis on this date and time. but there are some ways to just predict that an earthquake will happen along this fault line.

they aren't 100% predictors but here are a couple things they look out for
1. other geologic activity, think volcanoes or hot springs. even just gases, or fractures forming without a quake.
2. similar but there are "micro" quakes or some such. some will happen in a pattern and can terminate with a "bigger" one. so it could just be plotting out a pattern.

Well yea, we definitely know quakes occur along this fault line. And we know another will eventually hit along this fault line.

We do not know “when” it occurs, only that it “will”.

yeah its kinda like the doomsday clock. we don't really know when it will hit, but we can move the hands closer/farther away.
