Don't know where my mind was earlier when I started this thread.

I'm not picking Price. I always go with Mickelson, so I am picking Phil! :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks:

Glad you changed your pick. I was about to ask what year this is. Price was great . . . IN 1994!?

Nope - Woods is back in front now by an eyelash. I think they've flip-flopped about 2-3 times this year.

So no one is sticking with the Round 1 leaders?

Goosen looks like a good pick - 16 greens in regulation! Tiger can grind and scramble but his tee game will put him in a lot of roughs.

Others with potential include Furyk and Toms - both can play patiently and accurately.

Should be a brutal Open if Rd 1 is any indication. If it doesn't rain, the course is going to be insanely hard on Sunday.

The way those greens are, the USGA can set those pins and make those guys shoot as high as they want. If the wind blows at all, an over par score might actually win.

I'll go with Vijay. Don't like him, but his game will keep him in contention. Tiger may surprise me, but I say his inconsistency holds him back on this course.

Well, I'd say Phil just about took himself out by posting a 7-over 77 today.

Those greens look tough... Watching guys trying to chip in is just painful.

Goosen seems to have a grip on things though. Tiger looks like he's gonna hang around the top. Anybody give Garcia a shot?

If they let Tiger hang around too long, he could just take it. I'd say Sergio has a shot and I wouldn't mind seeing him win it. But if he starts doing that waggle-dance before every shot like he did in NY then I hope he fails.

I kinda like watching the pros struggle every now and then. It makes me feel much better about my game. Golf should not be so easy all the time.

Man but tiger can drive the ball. I swear there is no one like him.

Yeah, then you come to the hard realization that we'd probably bogey about every hole on that course. :(

Doesn't matter. With the way the greens are here, no putting game = no win

Hey, good idea.

WAIT, WE DON'T HAVE ANYMORE VOLNATION DOLLARS.

Anyways, I really think anybody with a score of 4+ downwards has a shot.

Well Tiger is at -1, If they let him just hang around, he can run away with it.

Crap, I WISH I could bogey every hole on the course. I'm doing good to beat that on the local public links!

I'd say most of us would have plenty a snowman and hockeystick after 18 at Pinehurst this weekend.
