A main factor in this UT BBall Head Coach search is success of the prospective coaches against teams that UT faces regularly.

Yesterday, Pearl beat Alabama by 10 points. Buzz never beat Bama losing by a double digit average (above 15 points I think)....this is an AVERAGE over 6 or 7 games.

Some say this escalates Pearl's status in the search.

I didn't get to see the Alabama game, but the UAB coach sure made a case last night. From what I hear, he probably won't leave though. But if the Red Raiders keep doing what they did last night...BK :bow: won't leave either.

Mike Anderson is not leaving. But a Johnny Dawkins or a Bob Lutz sounds very good!!!

We should go after mike anderson and bob knight. Not saying pearl is a bad coach though. the only coach that on the list right now that i would hate to see come to ut would be lebo. it would be like hiring another buzz peterson. :censored:

Kevin O'Neill beat Kentucky in the NCAA tournament right before UT hired him. Somehow, that previous success didn't translate into success at UT.
