Did anyone see the stats from the UAB 27-7 win. Hackney still looked pretty impressive, maybe the poll voters will realize that UAB wasn't a pushover to begin with.

yes i did he threw for like 280 and they had like 160 on the ground. They also held there opponent to like 28 yards rushing and like 168 yards passing. So for two nonranked teams playing one another uab was impressive!!

They were pretty good. Hope Blazer85 (Think thats right) sill sticks around this board. UAB had an upperclass fan base. Thought that was impossible in Bama, guess not. Sure would love to see UAT schedule UAB.

I watched the game and the Blazers dominated. Troy wasn't bad last year (beat Missouri) but I don't know about this year.

What impressed me more than Hackney (I already knew how good he is) was the Blazer D. Very solid. Troy's only score was a punt return.

UAB is no cupcake. And Bama will never, ever, ever, ever play them :bad:

I said it right after we played them and I'll say it again, I doubt they lose another game this year. Most of the talk about UAB is related to Hackney, but what impressed me the most was their defense. UAB played a solid four quarters of defense, most mid-majors can hang with ranked BCS team through the first half, but don't have the depth to last the full game. UAB is not one of those teams.
