UCLA goes down

Even if USC beats ND and UCLA, both of those will be only borderline Top 25 wins

It is likely the only signature win of USCs entire season will be the PAC 12 Championship

In other words, Vols fans have a lot to smile about rn.

One less team for Tennessee to have potentially got held out by in the playoffs....Now Notre Dame needs to beat USC

They were at 12, so it was probably pretty unlikely to begin with or else the committee would have had them a lot higher given the records of a lot of the teams in their top 10.

The only teams that have ANY kind of shot.
Georgia
OSU
Michigan
TCU
Tennessee
USC
LSU
Clemson
UNC

That’s literally it.

Not sure UNC or USC have the strength of schedule to get in even with their champ games

Frankly Clemson’s is even pretty suspect

If things finish the way I suspect (Michigan and TCU lose once, USC loses again)

1. UGA
2. OSU
3. UT
4. TCU
5. Michigan
6. Clemson or UNC winner (possibly Bama)

“Any” kind of shot…..really.

I don’t think several of them have good shots, but they got “a” shot.

If TCU were to lose, I think there’s a high likelihood a 1 loss ACC champ could get in the 4th spot, especially if Michigan loses to OSU (Michigan’s OOC games were horrific).

If TCU does lose and UNC beats Clemson a 1 loss USC PAC champ might look pretty good.

Certain things have to happen for several of those teams but I believe all of them have “some” kind of shot just because of their “now” situations. Their all 1 loss minus LSU and all of them except Tennessee has the chance for a conference championship.

If TCU loses, they're out. It'd be 1 loss MI, per your above. I believe TCU is suspect, but they really don't play anyone. They're underdog to BU, who just got hammered??? Per espn. I like our odds and will be on high alert until we're in. GO VOLS.

The fact any of these teams are even considered to be ahead of is trash. These conferences suck ass. PAC, big 12 ? Ffs please. We would beat the absolute dog **** out of TCU

Gonna say this in this thread as well to simplify things for people. Root for for TCU or USC to just drop one of their last three games and we are golden.

Easy peasy as they’ll both lose.

uscWest is easily the lamest top 15 team in the country. Even North Carolina would school them. I expect them to lose to ND and UCLA. Then Oregon or Utah will tap that arse if they make it to the pac championship game.

USC cant play for.pac 12 title right? It will be Oregon vs Utah?
Well since Oregon lost, now they can most likely play for the championship. Unless they lose to UCLA. The only way their would've been left out is Utah has beaten Oregon, but Oregon still only had one loss after that Utah game. Essentially all 3 needed to finish 8-1 in the PAC12

Just need USC to lose one more game and they still have UCLA and ND on the schedule, depending on if they win out there’s still a championship game against either Utah, who they’ve lost to once this year, or Oregon. But who knows, the PAC-12 is weird and I think there’s still a couple other teams mathematically in the mix. Bottom line, USC needs another loss and we won’t have any threats from a PAC-12 champ.
