Not sure about his coaching acumen. He also lobbied for the UW job while still coaching the Seahawks. Not anywhere near as entertaining as his dad either. :)

Jim Mora Jr was actually the guy I wanted us to hire when Kiffy left. Not that I was all that sold on him as a coach but he just sorta seemed to be one of the best available at that time. Good for him. Hope he is thumping Kiffin in a couple of years.

I think that UCLA is continuing to try to replicate USC's success under Carroll (a former NFL guy) by once agin trying to bring in another NFL guy. That didn't work with slick Rick and don't imagine it will work with Mora.

Decent hire for UCLA. I still think they can start picking up more USC leftovers and being.a little more competitive for the next few years at least.
