This game is making me feel about 100x better about our loss to Texas (although I still don't understand why our defense was so terrible).

Texas beats UCLA by 2 with a dunk with 8 seconds left. I don't feel so bad about our loss, either.

Texas should be #1 in the country.

They beat #7 on a neutral court and #1/2 at home.

That does make me feel a little better about the texas game, but we still should not have been beaten that badly.

This game opened at Texas +11 too, that's as close to a gimme as you will ever get.

Texas has the best guards in the country, it's no secret. I like atchley's play too.

I think the most surprising part of their win is that they were up by about 17ish in the first half at UCLA. They almost lost the game but to go up that much on the #1 team in the country is impressive.

Texas is showing they had loads of talent last year that was overshadowed by Durant. Augustin is special - he really doesn't have any weaknesses - great ball handling, shoots lights out from the 3, can drive and dish or take it to the hole, makes good decisions and plays good defense. It's his team this year.

My only question about this team is whether their backup post players can perform (b/c their front guys, while talented, aren't exactly big bruisers), and what happens if DJ gets into early foul trouble? Who runs the show after that? Mason?

TX got UCLA at the right time in the season. That game in March could be ugly the other way. UCLA has a very stout backcourt when healthy.
