A lot of teams wanted Chip Kelly because he was the hottest and most successful name in the market. I don’t understand what point you are hoping to make by pretending that you knew he wasn’t all that.

He wasn’t all that. The point is like you said he was a proven commodity right? Yet he has done nothing. I never wanted him here.

The BIG would probably be better off taking Rice rather than UCLA. Large endowment, both draw about the same number of eyeballs, another large TV market in an NFL city, better recruiting grounds and much better academics. USC already delivers the LA market for the BIG.
