Don't you think maybe the Heisman had a little something to do with that. After all, two of the top 3 candidates were playing for USC. Also, don't forget this is a big rivalry game. As far as I'm concerned, when you've got a team by the throat, don't let up. Keep the momentum. I guarantee if it had been the other way, UCLA would have piled it on. When they came out of the locker room after the half, Pete Carroll warned he wanted them to keep bringing the gas. I wouldn't have had a problem if he's played them all the way through.
Also, I like to see UCLA get theirs, no matter who gives it to them.
Remember this also, no matter what they say about schedule, etc., the bigger the win margin, the higher the ranking. It 's always been that way and it always will be.
You can't take any chances with this screwy ranking system they use.
