I watched them against Nova and I think they are hands down the best team in the nation. That is if they will play. They are big, can shoot and are deep. That is usually a very good recipe for a tourny run.

I agree. With the exception of Point Guard, they have tremendous depth at every position. Nobody has the depth of big, talented players they do. LSU is close, but even they don't have the numbers UCONN does.

I know LSU played them close. But I think UCONN is on a different level now than then. Even with help from the officiating Nova was whipped.

Villanova is a better version of Tennessee. They just don't have the frontcourt to win the 6 games needed to win the tournament.

No arguement here on that. But I just think that if UCONN plays they will take it to the end.

Foul trouble or injury to Marcus Williams is UCONN'S greatest fear. They don't have a quality backup. Williams is the most important player on that team.

Uconn is good, no doubt, but Nova did beat them earlier this season...they're not unbeatable. it will be interesting to see the matchups they'll have based on the bracket they get in the NCAA's...that could make or break them. But as of today, they got to be the favorite.

In a 1 and done Tournament anything can happen!! UCONN has lost a couple and while they are a great team they can be beaten. The tournament is not a series it is one game to advance or go home. I agree that we are not as good but strange things happen sometimes..... :thumbsup:

that's the "if" for a lot of teams......like i said earlier, i think Uconn has to be the favorite, but you never know...i think this year is really one of the more wide open years we've had in a while.

I agree you could say that about a lot of teams....If they play their Game.... Look what if the shots are falling....If is a word a lot of teams could say :rock: :rock: :rock: :rock:

yep. whoda thunk that Bama would should 76% and score 50+ points against us in one half...IF they could do that all the time, they could be great.....

I know IF is a big word. What I'm talking about is quality of a team. UCONN is the best in the nation and should win it. If they don't they should be disapointed. I think they are clearly the best team this year. But as we all know the best teams don't always win.

NO they don't...if it were the NBA playoffs I dont think anyone would beat them 4 outta 7 though.

i agree with this completely. we have just as good a shot at winning this as most teams. there aren't one or two teams, like most other years, that seem to be heavy favorites going in. do i think we will win it? no, but who knows, maybe we can get hot at the right time.
