Memphis is up 13-0 with 2 minutes left in the first half.

The Tigers currently have a 6-1 record in the second year of the American Athletic Conference.

If their lead holds, they'll clinch at least a share of the conference championship.

41-10 Final Memphis moves to 9-3 and wins at least a share of the AAC.

(They need ECU to beat UCF next weekend to win it outright.)

Does Cincy still not get a share or do they use head to head as tiebreaker?

I'm not sure.

I think they would use head-to-head tiebreaker when they can...so if it were just Cincy and Memphis, Memphis would get it.

At the same time though, their tiebreaker structure seems pretty flimsy, as though they realize that they're mainly just using it as a stop-gap until Navy joins in 2015, allowing them to have a conference championship game.

(they even say "If more than one team has the same winning percentage, the tied teams are declared co-champions. To determine the College Football Playoff/Host Bowl representative, the co-champion ranked highest by the College Football Playoff Committee will be eligible to receive the automatic bid shared with Conference USA, the Mid-American, Mountain West, and Sun Belt conferences.")

I think officially they'll be co-champions if they end up tied with just Cincy, even though they won head to head.

Memphis has actually turned the corner and are a pretty decent program. Obviously they are doing it on a lower scale but gotta give them credit.

It is the complete antithesis of their basketball program, which continues to get top talent and turning them into rec center type guys.

Fuente will be receiving attention in the offseason. Watch out for him if some of the bigger programs strike out on their top targets.

I wonder if UF would consider Coach Fuente? He's obviously good high quality coach. Anyone that can turn around a dumpster fire program like Memphis has recently been must be a pretty good coach. They played UCLA close, and played Ole Miss better than we did. They could beat us this year if our paths crossed in a bowl game.
