UF LB Antonio Morrison Arrested

Apparently Morrison didn't think the club's cover charge applied to him, because he plays college football, and is therefore entitled to get whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Strike 1 Antonio....

honest question, how many florida players have been arrested under muschamp?

I am a student at UT and have had front row seats in the student section for the passed two years (Sections F (sophomore year) and E(last year)). Every game the student section yells at the oposing team and usually they just ignore us and don't do anything. When we played Florida, every one of their players were talking trash, which is fine. However, in the third quarter when Florida scored to go ahead, #34 Lerentee McCray threw a full cup of gatorade into the student section. The cops were called over to do somethign and nothing was done, their coaches were laughing about it. Later in the game he did it again. There was a complete lack of discipline on that team.

How dare those mean football players respond to our overly confident student section talking trash up until the point where our team quit in the 3rd quarter.

And I hate to break it to you, but that wasn't Gatorade.

This I agree with, and it was evident during both of our losses last year.

As for McCray, I don't condone his actions, but I wouldn't fault any player for responding to repeated trash talk from students, in a game everyone expected them to lose.

These are 18-22 year old kids we're talking about, and a student section who proudly chanted "f*** you Florida!!" in front of a national TV audience in 2010.

Ok, so it's ok for a player to throw a cup of gatorade into the student section and nothing to happen but you better bet that if a student threw a cup anywhere near a player we would get arrested as fast as you could blink. That double standard is absolute $hit..

Actually you're incorrect.

I sat in the lower level behind UF's bench in Baton Rouge and Auburn, and we got pelted with water bottles at various points during the game. A couple hit our players and nothing happened.

I've also sat in the south end zone lower level in Baton Rouge, and LSU fans in the upper deck throw crap at opposing fans the whole game.

That may be true at other places. Also, I didn't say the regular fans. I'm talking about the student section. I have seen a cop come into the student section and arrest a guy that was being verbally abusive. Also, during that game, a woman that was pregnant and in UT gear with her husband in the Florida student section got pushed off the bleacher she was sitting on and the cops came right up and arrested the florida fan that pushed her. They don't mess around with either of the student section in Neyland.

That's great to hear.

I could have used the cops in Section NN back in 1996, and Section GG in 1998, because there were some drunken UT fans whose sole purpose in life was to pick fights with UF fans minding their own business.

I have no doubt that is true. Drunk fans in large numbers tend to be absolute A holes.

Two years ago, two drunk Cincinati fans came into the front row of the student section right next to me and tried to say they could stand there because they were up 7-0 at the time. After everyone around telling them they were in the wrong section, their response was "It don't matter! Look at the scoreboard!" Eventually they were made to leave by the ushers.

I've seen this happen as well.
