A late push by the gators can't get them the win.

If we can pull out a win at home V. Vandy and @UK, we will be sitting very nicely in the SEC only 4 games in!:rock:

I think the gators showed that they're continuing to get better, but they'll have to wait another year before they're ready to contend for a championship in the sec.

Wow, I'm surprised it was that close. My cable provider didn't carry it. From what I saw the Gators were down by more than ten with about 3 minutes to go. If they clawed back to within a basket at the end that's a good sign for down the road.

I was suprised to see that as well, I guess the game was the reversal of our game with Ole Miss for them, they let the lead slip away and held on. Also I put this in this forum seeing as if all this happens we will have a huge leg up on the 1 seed in the east for the SEC tourney. Sorry.

It was the stupid foul - hope they miss their free throws and sink a three method that makes 1 minute take over 10 minutes - which pisses me off more than anything in sports. That's just not basketball.

Ole Miss was atleast 10 points better tonight... but atleast Florida got it back within 6-10 the second half.

Why would you be? UT is in the best position to earn that honor this year.

I know this isn't football, but every loss counts...vandy, KY and Fl will all have losses and we will just be jumping out to a nice start that's all I was getting at (which obviously we already kinda have)

Unless Speights steps up inside, I don't see Florida having a legit shot at the SEC east. But to be down 15 in the second half to a ranked opp on the road and coming back to within two should serve as a good moral victory.

Ole Miss was flat and overconfident after the UT game. UF's inside game is a joke---Speights had 4 points! UT will blow them out, twice!!
