UF QBs throw 6 pics in open practice

It doesn't matter.

They won't throw any against us, the refs will call another mystery touchdown, we'll fumble inside the 5 again, etc.

We've had more crappy luck against Florida in the last 10 years than most teams see in 40 years.

Praying we break this streak.

It's their d, it will be that good. Their front 7 with another year of experience will be a bear. I'm hoping we can put up 17 points on em. The game will come down to our d against their o. If we pen them in the entire game we can win. If we give up some big plays and kick returns and they score 21 or more, I believe we're in trouble. Their d is just filthy talented in the front 7.

I will agree with you on their front 7, but if their secondary hasn't drastically improved then this will be a nightmare game for UF.

They had a hard enough time covering DR last year, with Hunter and CP added in they might as well tackle them as soon as the ball is snapped. That's pretty much what they did last year anyway.

Well they did catch 6 pics in one practice so they aren't horrible. Jury is out on their db's but a good pass rush makes it so much easier. Hoping our front 7 can keep our db's from having to cover for 6 seconds this year. Then we'll all be saying how the db's are much improved and crediting coach Ansley, when that half second, hurried throw is often times the reason for an incompletion.

Sto is correct. People aren't realizing how good their defense is. We can score on them, but they're loaded.

If we can run the ball on and score on Florida, we can do it to about any team in the nation.

17 might be enough

We scored more than 17 last year with our game plan getting totally broken early on. We can score on them, will just be a tough game.

I'm praying it will be. I think their d has prob improved. But so has our offense. I don't see us running on that d, so I expect us to be pretty much one dimensional by the late third quarter. Turnovers, punt returns, and field position will be critical in this game. Typical tight contest between two good sec teams. Prob come down to a palardy 46 yard chance to win.

I hope we're that good, do you think musch will have them much improved in his second year or about the same?

I think the defense will be just an absolute beast. But our offense will also be totally different than what we saw against UF last season.

If we have a chance, I hope CDD runs the score up a little bit to make up for the last 7 years

They weren't 8 x 10's , they were 4 x 6's. So it was a lot harder than ya'll think

I know the feeling. Wuerffel and company were picked off 7 times by the Cats in '93 and still found a way to win.

You can have the best sailors on the planet but when your captain is an idiot you'll eventually sink.

Florida will learn what it feels like to have to rely on out-talenting teams for wins.

Why would you open your practices not knowing what you want to do? What a buffoon.

I would have said exactly what I said regardless of scrimmage stats today. Their defense is good and talented, especially the front 7. Fact.
