Not the fault of CSS. The rights to the game tonight belong to FSN. They're not going to give a competing network like CSS access to their games in markets that don't have FSN. Otherwise, the cable system has no incentive to add FSN.(Orangewhiteblood @ Jan 21 said:CSS is too busy showing games like Pitt vs Ruthers or Michigan vs. Minnesota. :banghead:

Interesting. I'm originally from LaFollette, TN, which isn't that far from you. Comcast in both LaFollette and Knoxville have FSN as part of their package. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be available in Abingdon. The regional affiliates of FSN are available on almost every cable system I've encountered.(Orangewhiteblood @ Jan 21 said:I live in Abingdon Virginia. About 12 miles from the Tennessee state line. FSN and FSS are the same channel. The official name is Fox Sports Southeast. That's the FSN affiliate available in the south.(Orangewhiteblood @ Jan 21 said:Well, they told me it's not in my region. Knoxville has it and this area doesn't. Different regions = different packages. Kind of stupid if you ask me. I told him to put in a request for FSN and FSS on my behalf. Maybe one day.....

You're correct. There used to be Fox Sports South or FSS. Then Fox Sports Net, the parent entity, made some changes to their regional set up and Fox Sports Southeast was born.(Orangewhiteblood @ Jan 21 said:Isn't there another FS_ channel though? I seem to remember someone having direct TV and two FS_ channels. Doesn't matter though, my region is not important to them.
If you have DirecTV, you can get all the FSN regional affiliates. There are several of them.(Orangewhiteblood @ Jan 21 said:Isn't there another FS_ channel though? I seem to remember someone having direct TV and two FS_ channels. Doesn't matter though, my region is not important to them.
