I'm not sure about Mir being that much better than Nelson. I think Mir is overrated and Nelson just went 3 rounds with Dos Santos in his last fight. It seems like Mir is losing every other fight as of late. You may be right but I guess we'll see.


P.s. Just looked it up and Mir is 6-4 in his last 10 fights.

Yeah man, he took some shots. Not as good as the first fight but it was solid. At least for a decision anyways. Always prefer a knock out or submission but will take trading blows for a finale.

Mir looks like a completely different fighter. Patient and in control. Then again, he is in shape and Roy Nelson is a slob. A slob that can take blows and dish em out though. Craazzzy

Here's what I want to know... How much food and how unhealthy does it have to be, to be as fat as Nelson? This is a guy that fights and trains everyday. This dude must be slamming cheeseburgers for every meal and a 12 pack a day.

Joe Rogan just said it. He gave Nelson too much credit for grappling and that this fight really shows the difference between a healthy and unhealthy person. Looks like the fight will go the distance even though Mir controlled the whole thing. Terrible fight though... Mir's last fight was bad until the finish too. He's winning but his fights are lame. If he's offered another title fight, it will be because he's a guaranteed knockout for Velazquez, Carwin and Lesnar.

Rampage won round 1 but it was pathetic. He doesn't deserve a title fight like this. He's pulling a Mayweather/Evans type fight. Get a couple punches in and run away the rest of the time.
