Silva over Bonnar

Nog over Herman

Teixeira over Maldonado

Davis over Prado

Maia over Story

There ya go, BadJerry. Just pick against my picks and you'll rake in the dough!! lol

I hope I'm as wrong as I was last time though because I want Bonnar to beat Silva and Prado to beat Davis.

For people who do gamble(I don't), I wouldn't even bother with the Nog/Herman fight. If Nog wasn't coming off that Mir injury almost a year ago, I would feel comfortable picking him to win but who knows what he'll look like in his first fight back.

Also, I kind of like this card. Not so much the main event because Silva is obviously the better fighter. If Bonnar puts on a good show, I'll withdraw my opinion. It's very possible he will but I always expect Silva too whoop ass.

Actually I agree with all your choices. Bonner should make it entertaining, just because he is so damn tough.
Nogs injury worries me, this is the only fight I'm iffy on.
Teixeira is a guy I look to make some major noise this year at LHW. People that don't know him, will very soon.
Davis wins just by controlling Prado on the ground. Very boring decision win. Imo
Maia will probably win by sub.

I like this card better than the last couple ppvs, pretty top to bottom. I'm even looking forward to the undercard. Wanna see what R. Jason from tuf Brazil will do. And Diego is always fun to watch.

Anderson Silva(32-4) vs. Stephan Bonnar(14-7)

Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira(33-7-1) vs. Dave Herman(21-4)

Glover Teixeira(18-2) vs. Fabio Maldonado(18-5)

Erick Silva(14-2) vs Jon Fitch(23-4-1)

Wagner Prado(8-0) vs. Phil Davis(9-1)

Demian Maia(16-4) vs. Rick Story(14-5)

I agree with all, except I think Herman over Nog. I can't wait to see Silva fight at 205 again. Also, if Teixeira wins big he'll probably shoot right up for a title shot opportunity.

They may make Teixeira fight a top 5 guy first, problem is who will fight him? Shogun already said he!! no. Like I said casual fans may not know him yet, but they will very soon. I'm excited to see Silva move up again too. The Forrest/Bonner commercial discussing pointers on fighting Silva was classic.

Wow, I hadn't looked at the Vols kickoff time until now. Sucks that it's such a late kickoff. At least it's on tv so I can watch both. Vols on the big screen, fights online. That'll do pig, that'll do.

I'm bias so I'd say a healthy Shogun if he ever gets back to full form. That's just me being bias though lol. Machida, Evans, Gustaffson, the winner of David/Prado. Machida and Evans might be his biggest threat but I just don't like Evans or the way he fights. If he was aggressive, he'd probably be Jones' biggest threat but Jones showed in the first fight he was willing to play his game and he beat him at it. Evans blew his chance in my mind. Shogun at least has the injury excuse going for him. Shogun, Machida or an up and comer.

Who you got?

I'm not a Bones fan but I don't know if anyone can beat him at this weight. Maybe if there was a heavyweight that was able to drop down.

I'd love to see a healthy shogun, dont know if he'll ever be healthy again. Machida has done the best so far, so maybe him. I really like Gustaffson, I think he has the best shot might still be a year away though. Teixeira maybe, but I need to see him in a couple UFC fights first. Too many guys have came in with a reputation and didn't live up to it. Wrestlers I don't know about with Jones, so far he has out wrestled or at the least neutralized them. And no wrestler can match him standing. A good stand up guy with good take down defense, that will press the fight is the type of fighter that could beat him imo.
I started off liking Jones, but after winning the title, dude has became a self righteous douche. That being said he is a beast, and its gonna take someone fighting a flawless fight to beat him. Again IMO.

2 things I'd like to see the UFC adopt. The pride yellow card for stalling, and split the hw class. Maybe 206-235 and 236-265. 206-265 is just too big of a gap IMO.

Yeah, it's weird how they have 10 weight classes 10lbs apart and then go from 205 to 250.

I think there are only 8 weight classes but you get the point :p

There are too many to begin with.

The lower weight classes are oddly done. The first few are 10 lbs, then 15 twice 155-170 and 170-185, then 20, then 60lbs. One of those seems very out of place. Lol Just sucks for the 230-240 guys that can't bulk up to 265 or cut to 205.

Although the past two champs have been about 240 :)

JDS and Cain

But yeah, it surprised me when Cain just steamrolled Lesnar.

Shut up with your facts! Lol I mean the Roy Nelson's that are not skilled enough at that weight. All 240 guys better beware when Reem gets back.

I always thought Brock was a little soft. Cain is a cardio freak btw. Reem made Brock look like a child.

Overeem is scary. I thought Brock was soft too until I saw him take that beating from Carwin. Personally, I thought the ref should have called it. I wish he had.
