Does Jones come back right away? Does he get a title shot right away?

It'd be fun to see him vs Rumble.

This was in the article.

Jones (21-1) is expected to challenge current light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (17-1) for the title immediately upon his return. The UFC stated it is currently "discussing" a potential date with Jones.

So, it sounds like it. There could have been a punishment by making him fight someone else first but since he was the champ and no one ever actually took the title from him. On top of being undefeated. Throwing him right back into the fire. To be fair, that could also be considered a punishment. By the time the fight, it's gonna be at least a year if not a year and a half. Cormier just fought 20 days ago and Jones last fought in january. They've gotta give cormier at least 3 months i'd think. So maybe the fight could happen in February or March? We'll see.

RIP DC!

Robbie lawyer looks significantly bigger than usual at the preset I saw.
Hope he isn't trying to bulk up and sacrifice his hand speed

I'm not complaining about the outcome, but that should have went to a third.

Yeah, it was too close not to go another round.

However, I'm not sure we would have seen anything different. Neither guy was willing to really go for it, both seemed content with picking their spots.

I'm clearing some things off the DVR and watched a couple fights from last season of TUF. I kind of liked the idea of the coaches, owners in this case, picking the fighters and revealing their selections when it was time to weigh in.

Wow, Le really screwed up. Take down defense needs some serious work.

Yeah, his striker is really good but like Faber told him, if you want to have a serious career you have to dedicate yourself to the ground game.

This won't be the last time we see him though. He's too exciting not to have some run in the UFC.

BTW, did anybody watch the fights on Saturday? Belfort KO'd Hendo, but I think they called it a little premature. Belfort got him with a kick and then jumped on top and landed 0.5 shots out of like 5 thrown and the ref jumped in. Hendo protested a little, but then took the high road.

It was a great kick, tho

I was watching with my dad and said the same thing to him. It looked a little premature, but the outcome would have probably been the same. I would love to see a Glover and Rumble matchup.
