Two separate sources (UGA grad and onine) I have heard today stating UGA is afraid UT will come after Mark Fox.

Wow. Talk about thinking you're a little better than you are.

Why would we want George Costanza as a coach???

(I kid, I kid... :hi:) He's proven to improve each year so far, but he's got a LOT more to prove before he jumps ship to another SEC school, much less one that's in the same division. Not gonna happen.

Yea great hire, untill he calls a time out the same time one of our guys hits a game winning shot. No thanks!!

Fox didn't exactly do a great job this year.

No he didn't, yet people act as if he saved UGA basketball. Go look at their scores, they played a ton of tight games with inferior opponents and got away with it.

The real problem is next year if both Leslie and Tompkins stay (which they are very borderline 1st round picks) and then add in Caldwell they could be another tournament bound team and this time with a better record and he will either garner a major raise or leave for a bigger more established program.

mark fox? are you serious? UT will not want him---the Vols can do a lot better for $3-$4 mil per year.

You and everybody else.

To bad, cannot have, not yours.

Too bad about Pearl. I like him, but UT had absolutely no choice.
I think Bama fans overestimate Grant's value on the coaching market. He's certainly not our first choice.

Fox is not going anywhere, not yet at least. Mark wouldn't even be a 5th option for UT. Fox is getting better and could end up being a real good coach. Sure, we lost alot of close games and also kept many opponents too close at times, but UGA did not get run out of the building in any of our games this year. And we played some pretty good teams this year. Time will tell, but I know tons of UGA fans who are really loving the direction Fox is taking our basketball program. Obviously we have alot to prove, but hey, you have to start at some point.
