Georgia sophomore receiver De’Nylon Morrissette was arrested early Monday and charged with four misdemeanors, including driving under the influence of drugs.

Morrissette was booked in Oconee County, the county that adjoins Athens, at 3:33 a.m. Monday, according to jail records. He was charged with DUI, driving too closely, driving too fast for conditions and violating Class D restrictions of not driving between midnight and 5 a.m.

So much for the conspiracy theory that Athens cops never harass football players and that only the evil Knoxville police do so.

You oughta know, that was a jagged little pill for both the program and his family to swallow, and the sophomore probably wishes he could keep his hands clean. That said, celebrity (and being under a constant lens) isn't for everyone and I'm sure that the bottom line is that both now and in that particular time all he wants from fans is a little empathy.

Can’t drive between 12 and 5a?

Violation?

Most be a Georgia thing 🤣

At least way back in the day in Georgia, when someone first got their license it was kind of a provisional license for the first year. Has a few restrictions on passengers, driving times, etc.

Then after a year if you don't get 37 tickets, etc you can go have it taken off.

Knew a few kids when I first started at GT who graduated high school a year early and were still held to these rules.

I would assume this is something similar.

You know one of those 4 drugs was pot, so he had to go get some munchies, lol.

it was a TN thing too. TN had different rules if you were under 18. I remember time restrictions being a thing unless you were heading home. and you also had limits on the number/age of passengers if you were below 18.

Your post is a bit ironic, don't you think?
