UGA's RB Caleb King is rumored to be academically ineligible, according to sources from both Scout and Rivals. He and RT AJ Harmon, who had to sit out of the bowl game supposedly due to academics, apparently did not get their acts together. With the departure of Washaun Ealey, that leaves Boo Malcolme and Carlton Thomas as the only RB's currently on campus, and Isaiah Crowell coming in on June 6th.

Makes me smile. Crowell will be getting all of the carries outside of Carlton Thomas on special plays.

Crowell may turn out to be beyond good, but I surely would not want to bank on a true freshman carrying the load for my school's running game.

If Crowell were to get injured, they would be in a world of hurt, assuming all this is true.

It may work out, but I agree with you, I wouldn't want to bank on it. Although, it did work out for us last year.

At least yall had someone to fall back on though. If this is true, UGA is kinda three sheets to the wind if Isiah Crowell doesn't work out. His only backups would be some guy named Boo and the midget from Fresh Prince

And Lattimore missed parts of 2 or 3 games due to injury.

Yep, and we looked lost without him. Lost him at the beginning of the game against FSU and right before or after halftime at UK. UGA's RB situation is definitely not a good one.

Does not look good right now. It's very hard to rely on young guys at this position.

Carlton Thomas is not an SEC calibre RB.

Boo has the coaches excited about his potential but has no experience at all.

Crowell will be good but we cannot rely on him alone.

We have a pretty good walk on RB who is actually related to Ealey. This kid turned down some mid-major offers to walk on at UGA. This kid really caught the attention of the coaches in the Spring.

We will need King next year. I think King will be eligible in the Fall.

RB is the easiest position to learn from HS to CFB. Also, depending on walk-ons...I hope you have a walk-on getting snaps, that means you guys will suck hard.

You can't be serious. There's more to the position besides running the ball.

Kicker is the easiest position.

Check that, long snapper then kicker.

WR would be the easiest to argue, but any DB position is harder than RB.

Outside of ST's RB is the easiest transition from each career jump. (HS-CFB-NFL)
