Lost Whitaker and Telvin Smith today. Going to lose Da'Rick, Robey, and maybe one more (name escapes me). Not much excitement down in Athens these days. Reminds me of UT circa 2002-2008

I hope it gets worse for them. Losing Da'Rick would really hurt them, I hope it happens. Richt's days are numbered in Athens if he does not start winning real soon.

Good, they have to be the MOST obnoxious fans in the SEC. They truly think their school is top 3 around the country.

I completely agree with that. I feel bad for Mark Richt though. I respect him as a coach and feel like this will be his last year there.

Try going to high school 20 minutes from Athens as a UT fan.

How about going to High School in Athens as a UT fan. I did

And to make it better....

How about going to UGA as a Vol fan. That would be me. All my friends are Dawg fans. Most of them truly believe they are one of the best, if not the best, football program around.

You win.

For undergrad, I at least went to a D3 school in Atlanta with no football team (and plenty of Vols fans).
I doubt I could have tolerated it for five years.

This.

They've started to slide with top 10 classes every year. What's going to happen with classes ranked in the high teens?

Hopefully they'll become the next Vanderbilt, because their fans are morons. I don't understand how they think they're so awesome when:

1. They can't get recruits anymore, and
2. They get whooped by a struggling "rival" in Tennessee almost regularly now.

It is truly a sight to see.
