Hey guys, I know you guys are pretty bummed about your season but I just had to come over and give some love for my DAWGS and to see what you thought about the game. I still cant believe that this season is already over and we have to wait another year for football. I also wanted to say thanks to everyone for once again being very respectful and classy towards me everytime I visit your board. Hold your head up you guys know coach Cut will have everything clicking next year. Give em hell.

your season ain't over yet...just don't lose to WVU...please. i'm hoping for an SEC sweep in the bowls this year....

y'all played an excellent game on defense and special teams....and shockley was particularly good early. and while i'm at it, the running game was pretty good too.

i will admit though i was not rooting for you guys, but you definitely got it done. very impressive win.

Go Dawgs...sic 'em. Woof Woof. :clapping:

Thank God DJ Shockley is a senior. I hope we see Joe Tereshinski next year when UT comes to Athens. :cross:

Gotta say too I was on LSU's side but Dawgs certainly impressed. Not surprised you pulled it off. When you are on it is great and you were on a roll on Saturday. Congrads on SEC Championship.

Actually at the beginning of the season I told my neighbor (UGA grad) I thought Shockley might duplicate Tee Martin, basically an unknown coming in behind a great QB and winning it all. Bar the injury, UGA probably would be undefeated. Credit Shockley for playing not at 100%.

I think Auburn was going to beat them regardless. There weren't too many teams at the end of the year playing better than Auburn.

I think you guys should be undefeated (bar Shockleys injury). A healthy Shockley would have beaten Auburn. You guys almost beat Florida without Shockley, and only losing to Auburn by one (last second field goal) with a less than 100% Shockley. You guys actually dominated the two teams that beat Auburn, Georgia Tech and LSU. Good luck.

Thanks, GAVol, for saying so. I started thinking I was the only person seeing how good Auburn was.

Moreover, I thought the better team won Saturday -- Georgia. LSU has been living on borrowed time all year. And I am not impressed with Les Miles in the least (see, it's not because I am a lunatic fan with ridiculous expectations).

He reminds me of Barry Switzer because Saban...

AU was not the better team.

LSU beat them and was undefeated in the West

Anything else said is laughable.

Actually, here I am defending Georgia and I dislike them more than any other Sec school. Go figure. :dunno: :banghead:

Your joking right UT...AU was better then LSU like Jake said if AU had a kicker that game AU would have won and beaten UGA again

Definitely dude. You guys put a sound whipping on us this year. Payback for 2003, I suppose.

In a way, I'm kind of glad of this outcome. Nothing against WVU, but I'd much prefer to play Miami. Even in the Peach Bowl. Congrats on the win Dawgs. Hopefully we'll see you again next year.

In the meantime, GO SEC.

If. But they didn't. On that night, between those two teams, LSU proved the stronger.

sore losers...i guess the Vandy game is still hard to swallow. Georgia won the SEC under the rules and guidelines established. If Auburn was the best, they had the same opportunity as every other team to prove it on the field. Yes I know they beat Georgia but that game is now history and Georgia is in the not quite the same Sugar Bowl.
