UGA vs Ole Miss

YEP...het to route for THAT guy, but this weekend I am a VOL fan first and an Ole Miss fan second.
Need Ole Miss to win, UT to win, then we go onto to beat UGA and Vandy...pop the corks and head to the ATL !!!

Only thing in that scenario that scares me is when is the last time, if ever, has Kirby lost two in a row at UGA???
They get beat this week by Ole Piss and they will be on fire next week for sure.

Also, looked at the rankings and if UGA does beat Ole Miss, then we win out it gets to be a very, very weird situation for SECE champ.

It simply amazes me that he still gets a thread here
Actually there are three threads. “The Lame Train”, “Kiffen”, and “Lane Kiffin…”

Based on the overall team speed difference I’ll be surprised if UGA doesn’t boat race them out of the stadium. But I had the Vols as a 6 win team so my credibility is shot.

My personal favorite was the “Lame Kitten” name. Really good stuff whoever came up w/ that gem.

Yeah, to hell with Tennessee’s chances of winning a conference title!!! I’d rather see that one guy who I hate, because 13 years ago he left for a better job while doubling his salary in the process, lose by 100!!!
The hatred for a guy doing what 95% of the population on here would do is mind boggling.

So you’d rather see Kiffin lose than your own team have a shot at an SEC title? Odd concept of fandom.
unless someone is worried about the future instead of just today. It would be different if Ole Miss beating Georgia was THE difference, instead of it just being a shot. we lose to Georgia and it doesn't matter what Ole Miss does.

Divisions are going away. which means we should be playing Ole Miss more, and theoretically Georgia less. Ole Miss beating Georgia would likely mean they win the west, or at the very least its a win over a #2 team. Which gives them a huge piece of validation for recruiting and so forth. Georgia is already at the top, we will still be chasing them no matter what happens. But if Ole Miss rises that's another obstacle in our way in a division less conference.

and anyone's fandom being questioned on CHANCE of something happening doesn't make a ton of sense. That's way too vague, and leads down way too many rabbit holes into some dark places. One's fandom is predicated on hoping bad things happen to a rival team, its predicated on cheering for YOUR team. most fans want to beat their rivals at their best because they are fans of THEIR team, they don't want to count on an injury, the weather, or another team to do their job for them.

also a loss would just piss off and focus UGA. making our game with them more difficult. They know a loss team can still make it, they would just have to win out and look good doing it.

I'd still rather have a shot at the SEC East than not. I don't care how pissed off they are.

I think it's moot because I have zero faith Kiffin can win a game like this.

Fantasy land? No I’m confused by your statement
You’re on record as saying that you’d rather have lane Kiffin lose by 100 than Tennessee have a chance to win the division. I find that attitude really odd for a supposed Tennessee fan.

My prediction is Lane finally gets his first signature victory this Saturday in Athens. And if Ole Miss were to win do they have a legitimate claim to make the playoff if they finish 11-1?

Fantasy land? No I’m just calling you out on your nonsense. You’re on record as saying that you’d rather have lane Kiffin lose by 100 than Tennessee have a chance to win the division. I find that a really odd attitude for a supposed Tennessee fan.

That's worse than the people who ask every year if it's better to win the NIT than lose in the first round of the NCAAT.
