The University of Kentucky filed a countersuit Thursday against former basketball coach Billy Gillispie, asking a Franklin Circuit Court judge to rule that the memorandum of understanding that UK had with Gillispie is not a formal contract.

No kidding. They offered the guy 3 million plus 2 for the house. Why pass that up and commit what could be career suicide over such a thing?

And by career suicide, I mean he will not be coaching at any elite D1 schools, or conferences for that matter in the near future. mark it down.
