Can someone please explain to me what's going on?

The Vols put a 30 point beat down on Kentucky last year in TBA, and this season for the first time that I can recall the Vols only play UK once and its in Rupp.

What's up with the schedule this season? Did I miss something?

Yes you indeed missed something.

When conference expanded they changed up how they did the schedule. The only team we play every year home/away is Vanderbilt, everyone else is on a rotating system.

Thanks. So when does UK rotate back on two games a season?

Calapari chickened out and decided he didn't want to play us at TBA anymore.

Why is vandy our only locked home and home? Kentucky is more of our rival IMO. I'm about getting sick of ****ing vandy

They saw us & Vandy as instate rivals and every team had to have one permanent rival, so that was natural. So they looked at Florida and Kentucky and said they are the national Championship winning programs and slotted them together.

That's ****ing stupid. When the hell did anyone think that Florida and UK were rivals?

No team in the SEC has beat UK more times than the Vols, this was about TV ratings in my opinion and not "Natural Rivals".

But at least we get a chance to drill the dores twice!

Just my two cents.

Lame. Your right, I just think it's stupid we've been playing a home and home with UK for forever and now all of a sudden we don't. **** Mike Slive

With the great players and games that have gone down in UT-UK history, it should be a home and home series between both schools and I don't think UT will get a sellout crowd for Vandy at home like they do for Kentucky or Florida.

All very good points, I'm glad that I'm not the only Vol Fan that feels very slighted by the SEC schedulers.

Exactly. SEC just scheduled the best teams in the league twice. Yes, it is true we are somewhat hating of UF, but I agree that UT is our biggest rival in the SEC.

Yes, he did. He's afraid of another beat down by the Big Orange!

Only if we lose our best player again the game before. And even then, I seriously doubt we'll by 30.

Last year was freakish year for UK IMO. Unless Cal has a year where he absolutely can't recruit, we shouldn't ever have a year that bad again.

Apparently the basketball scheduling is done by the same person who schedules Vol football; clearly not a UT fan.

Yeah because Noel was going to score 30 points...and we weren't without Maymon...all year

You had been without Maymon the whole year, plenty of time to adjust.

We were without Noel for less than a week, and zero games. I've said this a million times...If we had Noel, no way we lose by 30. Maybe we lose, but not by 30. The wheels fell off without Noel.
