UK is 9-12 and UT is 8-13, UK is in 4th place, UT is in 5th place in the eastern division. Winning the series would tie us with them, but give us the tie breaker should we end the season with the same record. Sweeping UK would be the ideal situation. UK was swept by Ole Miss at home last weekend.
UK: 27-17 (9-12), RPI 14, SOS 2, Away 7-7
UT: 26-16 (8-13), RPI 27, SOS 25, Home 18-6
UK: Runs Per Game 8.2, Runs Allowed 5.4, Margin +2.9
UT: Runs Per Game 6.0, Runs Allowed 4.2, Margin +1.7
UK leads the league in almost every offensive category, while being at the bottom of the league in pitching and defense. They go as the bats go, and no one player means more than AJ Reed. Reed has 19 homers. As a team, UT has 17. Reed is also the Friday night starter for them. He's arguably the best two way player in all of college baseball as a junior.

Fun Fact:The catcher Michael Thomas was a team mate of AJ, Stew and Bettencourt in Alaska for the Matsu Miners last summer...He's really improved at the plate, and he has a great arm.
There's not much point in me out lining the strengths of their line up, when it's done well here: No. 25 Baseball Travels to Tennessee for Three-Game Set - Kentucky Wildcats Official Athletic Site
Summary
At this point, everyone knows the strengths of our team and the strengths of theirs, no reason for me to bore ya'll any further.
I doubt it will turn into a pitching dual.
We need to win this series in the worst way.
