This game was so bad that the Rupp crowd was cheering for Morehouse when they hit a shot...in the first half. Walk-on Jared Polson entered with 5 to go in the first half - UK couldn't try and keep this unembarassing.

If someone told me that I had to identify one area for concern, it will be the rebounding and size advantage that UNC or Sullinger and OSU have against us. Davis is a freak of an athlete, but he gets pushed out of the lane quite easily by smaller players. Jones and Gilchrist will have to step up, along with Wiltjer. Zeller and Henson will be tough down low on both ends.

UK is going to be a force this year. I agree with HF in regards to down low, but I think they are good enough go win against the big boys despite it.

UK vs UNC in the NC game (the rematch) would be fun to watch.

Jones and Gilchrist are going to cause a ton of foul-outs this season. They are both 100% all the time, killer instinct and never letting up. Diving and fighting over loose balls, just scrapping until the whistle blows. Teague is a bulldog as well, my favorite part of his game is the D. One of those guys who is in your grill from baseline to baseline, will probably average 3 steals per game this season.

Another note of interest, our 6"10 backup center Wiltjer had 26 and hit 6 three balls, I think.

If a miracle happens and we do bring home the hardware, I want to bump this post to smile myself, but I fear there will be too many beers and shots between now and April for me to remember such a thing.
