I thought it would be cool to do a preview thread of all the teams we face this year. Just some quick information for those that don't follow other teams, want to know more about them and also how the numbers stack up compared to Tennessee's.

So here we go.....:)

UNC Asheville has been to two straight NCAA tournaments but only return 1 starter from last years team. Tennessee is 8-0 all-time and has never faced them outside of Knoxville. We won last years game 72-68.

We should win this one easily. UNC Asheville lost their two leading scorers from last year in Dickey and JP Primm.

Yeah. Stats are a little iffy right now but should be cool to look at when teams gets some games under them. Either way, we should win big. UNCA will pound the ball inside a lot so it at least gets Stokes feet wet early.

Fun fact: Keith Hornsby (projected starting guard) is the son of Bruce Hornsby the musician. My mom was this kid's music teacher in elementary school.

That's probably the most useless fact you'll hear today.

Really? That's pretty cool. I like reading that kind of stuff even if it's useless to the game.

I'd like to see one of these threads for every team especially the non-conference teams who we don't know much about. Thanks for starting it.
