I have no idea how they are having all the troubles they are having with all the talent on that roster. Win by about 10 against a UNC-Asheville squad that they should have destroyed. Lost to Minnesota, lost to Vandy. Just my opinion, but UNC has no business losing to those two teams.

Mediocre point guard play and 20 turnovers will keep you in any game. Drew II has yet to prove that he can play ball at this level on a consistently good basis.

That's what I was thinking. Since Lawson left, it hasn't been anywhere close to the prolific offense they are known for.

I'll take the wins because this is still a young team. That being said, there's too much talent on this team to be squeaking by these low-major and mid-major programs. Still looking for a leader to step up and waiting on Barnes to get acclimated to the college game. Should, SHOULD, be a much improved team by the time conference play gets rolling.

Harrison Barnes actually isn't the best freshman in the history of the world.

you act like Vandy is just a push over, if that's the case lyls you should study up on basketball.

Vandy scrimmaged UNC either last year or the year before and beat them by 30. RW was pissed and asked Stallings for one more 20 min half to which Vandy agreed. Vandy ended up beating them by 20 in the last session. Vandy is not a bad team at all.

remember this guy? he was raw

Vandy has one of the best shooters I have ever seen in person on their team, Jenkins. They are nowhere near as talented as UNC though.

My sons high school team played his during his junior year. I could tell then he was a good prospect but he has certainly developed his shot over the last year or two. Stallings is very good at making good shooters better.

He's dangerous from anywhere on the floor, that's for sure

A few new characters, otherwise, no changes from last year. Can't shoot, can't defend, don't value the basketball, no leadership....I could continue. When did UNC start recruiting players that have apparently never played team basketball? WTF Roy???

UNC is soft. Period. They don't play defense, they don't value the ball. Zeller is the only guy keeping them in games. Harrison Barnes has lost his confidence, I can go on and on. In all honesty, Roy Williams is losing credibility as a quality coach. He does not adjust or adapt to the players he is coaching. Their team is should be a half court team to revolve around Zeller, Henson, and Barnes. Instead Ol' Roy is forcing transition BBall w/o a decent PG. Maybe I'm a homer, but Krzyzewski would have UNC undefeated at this point.

Didn't NC lose something in the neighborhood of 15 games last year? They aren't going to be a magic powerhouse overnight. The only thing that got them any kind of preseason ranking is the name on the front of the jersey.

UNC is like Texas in football, they are always preseason top 10, although they don't always deserve it. UNC is really lucky the ACC is having a very bad year, because although they are struggling they should easily finish in the top 5 in the conference. With that being said, I think the ACC will only get 3-4 teams in the tournament this year (Duke, Virginia Tech, FSU, and maybe UNC). I think UNC will finish 18-12 or 17-13, with a very strong RPI. They are going to have to win a few games they are not supposed to in order to get into the tournament, but they should be able to if they play well in the ACC tournament.

They are struggling due to their pg play and lack of shooters on the perimeter. Reggie Bullock is a good shooter and scorer but is slowly adapting to the college game. Harrison Barnes is not as good as advertised. I think Sullinger, T. Jones, Harris, Selby and Irving are all better players. The biggest letdown has been John Henson. He was a top 5 recruit and has done very little to garner being anywhere near a 5 star recruit.

Go Duke!!!
