UNC has absolutely squandered a very good chance to go undefeated. Both State and Clemson suck, Duke is at home w/ a beat up QB and you lose to UVA and GT? They have capable talent across the board, not just at QB. Carolina needs to be thinking at life beyond Mack at this point. I like Mack Brown. He’s a good guy, but this was served up to him this season and it won’t ever be like this for him again. They'll definitely win next week. I'd bet Duke beats them, but it's a rivalry game. NC State and Clemson don't look great this year either. I'm betting they are at least 8-4. Right now Tennessee looks like a 9-3 or 8-4 team to me.
I'm not sure how much better they can do. UNC is not the most attractive job for football. Stoops maybe? l'd think UNC is an upgrade from Kentucky.UNC has absolutely squandered a very good chance to go undefeated. UNC has always had this moniker as a “sleeping giant”, At least it does here locally, I don’t really understand how they manage to fall flat twice a year in games that they aren’t supposed to, but they’ve done pretty much my entire life Thinking about what I posted about moving on from Mack, I don’t know that UNC is as an attractive job as it once was, not because they don’t have a lot good qualities, but because there’s so much uncertainty w/in the conference. You may be in the ACC for a considerable more amount of time and fall behind a lot of your border state schools because the funds aren’t there to compete. The guy that takes the job might end up in the B1G or maybe even the SEC, that’s a big jump signing up for the ACC and ending up in one of those conferences. Going to Death Valley in the ACC is an event, in the SEC that’s pretty much most weekends . It will be interesting to see what direction Carolina goes when ever Mack decides to leave . And I do think it will be Mack’s choice .I'm not sure how much better they can do. UNC is not the most attractive job for football. Stoops maybe? l'd think UNC is an upgrade from Kentucky.

I think Bubba will publicly allow him to make his own choice to leave gracefully. I think that would be the right thing to do.Yeah, they squandered a huge opportunity to go undefeated.... I think I goes back to Mack with these questionable losses. It's almost to be expected since he's been there unfortunately. Last year, they got off to a 7-1 only to finish 7-5 after a bowl loss. I respect Mack for what he's done for the game, but the AD(think it's still Cunningham?) might have to make a decision.
Then again, like you said,Mack will likely leave on his own terms. He got the Texas job on his success at UNC.
