If Coach Fulmer is able to slime his way out of getting fired, again (after 2005 debacle, which was also his fault), then which coaches will get thrown (by Fulmer) under the bus???

my vote:

1. Clawson - OC
2. Adkins - OL coach (i think)
3. Slade - DB coach

They will all get booted, bc/ they all SUCK.........Since Fulmer doesn't coach, only watched filim and talks on a headset, he's not really responsible for anything!! haha...

I think Clawson will get a pass. Adkins will probably get the boot under the bus....and I might even throw Chavis' name in there too.:rock::salute::popcorn:

Get your popcorn ready this should be a treat to watch.

I would be shocked if Clawson can get a free pass......how about Slade?? he SUX

I don't think we've seen what Clawson is all about. It's obvious the QB situation and Fulmer are holding his play calling back.

Chavis would top my list along with Slade. Brooks and Caldwell hasn't shown me a whole lot either.

Chavis is the best coach we've got. Adkins I don't know about, and Berry might save Slade's job, but our secondary should be better with Morely, Vinson, Willingham, and Rogan. We just need something new on offense that works for god's sake

Wow are u serious?? Chavis is far from the best anything we got. And no Slade is done! Berry cant save his life Chavis has saved Slade's life this long and Chavis will be demoted after this year for sure. He does nothing for us and he could not make an adjustment if his life depended on it!
This could be the worst tackling year I have seen from our Defense and Special Teams.

Chavis is not the best coach we have. He's skated by in the past because of the caliber of players he had playing for him. He's a decent LB Coach but he shouldn't be a Def Coordinator. All of the offenses that we face have passed him by.

If Fulmer doesn't go then I'm all for Chavis being shown the door. He can take Slade with him as well.

Maybe Hamilton can find Al Wilson on the golf course and get his big, fired up, in your face ass on the staff! Command Respect & Get The Most Out Of Players=Al Wilson! Bet he would be a hell of a recruiter also...There should be a clause in the next HC's contract that he MUST hire him or we chop him up and feed him to Smokey!

If we keep Fulmer:
1) Clawson and Drayton should go. When UGA said that they knew from film when we were running the ball 80% of time, you know Clawson is in over his head. Drayton hasn't taught those WR anything, but he is a good recruiter (see #2).

2) If we fire Drayton, we will need a WR coach and a hella recruiter. Go after Beatty at WVU. He is one of the hot new coordinators and could pull Boyd and Heastie for sure. He went to ETSU so he has ties. Beamer wants him at VT cause he is the man in Virginia.

3) Chavis is an interesting situation. He has lost us many games in the past, but his D has looked really good this year. Unless there is a sure fire better replacement, I wouldn't mind Chavis sticking around one more year. Maybe see what a Sladeless defense looks like.

4) The O line coach needs to be seriously evaluated. Is that Brooks or Caldwell, I always get those two confused?

Stan drayton is the running backs coach. Scott is the WR coach.

Scott has done pretty good job with the WRs and he's a damn good recruiter. Chavis' defense looks good this year because we're loaded with talent, if we're not loaded then we have a defense like '06, '07. Also the o-line coach is Adkins.

Chavis won the 1998 championship with his defense, not foolmer with offense. Chavis has saved Foolmers job for 10 years. Chavis is always coaching his players at practice while foolmer stands in the background. Chavis gets the team fired up before games, then foolmer talks to the team and lets them down. Chavis knows whats hes doing, whilest foolmer doesn't have a clue. Foolmers knows he is in over his head, and Chavis may bail him out again. If you dont think any NFL team would hire him in an instant, then you are crazy.

I think you need to reread this thread. I Made no statements even remotely close to what your saying. Cocaine is a hell of a drug. You got me confused with someone else. By the way chavis sucks.

Is that b/c I got Drayton and Scott mixed up like you got me and Carter?

Or was it b/c we are 2-4 and all coaches including Chavis deserve evaluation? I didn't rank anybody and wasn't asked to either.

We suck, plain and simple. Every one of our coaches need to be evaluated based on SEC caliber, potential replacements, and future ability. Before you call me something else you need to go to the forums board and enter the word "Chavis". $10 bucks says 50% of the threads are a bunch of bafoons wanting Chavis fired. But if I am a bafoon for being fair in my judgement of Chavis, what do you call all these Chavis haters?
