because as long as the left is successful at using class warfare as a political tool, the dolts that vote for them will always believe that a) the government has unlimited amounts of money and b) the "rich" are always trying to screw the so-called "little guy."

I'm with you. The basics of economics are very intuitive. It is a shame that we have so many politicians Running our country without any such intuition.

I know you're joking but the rub with me comes in with the fact that all this free money we get from Bernanke and company as they create it out of thin air to monetize the debt is bought with US Treasury notes, at some point my grandchildren must buy back those notes at interest.

It might be different if they were putting up money of their own but they are empowered to create money and they can spend that money before inflation takes it's toll, by the time I may or may not get my hands on that money it won't be worth half what it is now.

I didn't bring children into this world for them to become slaves.

I am one extremely unhappy camper, I'm not just mad, I'm ready to kill!! :furious3:

I understand the money issuance process. It's simply built in inflation that devalues everyone's dollars, but also devalues the debt load. I don't like that it's often how congress justifies profligate spending, but it is reality.

He said something to the affect that "standing in line was such a great job skill" that pretty much implies that he believes they want to be on unemployment. All I'm saying is don't lump the hard working American in with the "bum" and assume that everyone on unemployment wants to be and doesn't want a real job.

Paying people to not work, now there is a real revolutionary way to increase jobs. Incourage people to stay out of work longer is obviously a great way to reduce unemployment. What a blithering idiot Pelosi is!:crazy::crazy::crazy: Actually, you can't expect much from her, she is a Democrat from San Francisco, afterall. Oh the joys of Never-Never Land!
