I got an idea. When someone loses their job we deport one "undocumented worker" or "illegal alien" and fill the void. That would fill about 13 million or so spots.
That should work well as long as the replacement worker doesn't mind the huge paycut and the dirty job they previously wouldn't consider doing.
My theory on this is... The jobs that the undocumented worker is doing could be done by an actual citizen. And the actual citizen would probably do it better and would cost the employer more. So.. In reality the employer would make less profit and the consumer would get a better product..

I don't buy your theory. In addition to what PJ pointed out, the employer will pass those costs on to us - they almost have to in order to ride the economic swings, risk and cost of capital.
