This was an interesting listen.
My gut is telling me there is probably more to the story on his end that we aren’t hearing about but I agree be careful trying to be the prince in shining armor.

Did not listen to video. People who try to do child support “off the books” need to know that the kid has a certain amount of time after becoming an adult to sue themself and it doesn’t matter what kind of agreement you had with the other parent. Also, if the other parent got public assistance, the state can come after you and those kind of debts are generally not dischargeable which means you will pay or get ready for life off the grid where you can compete for cash jobs with illegal aliens and criminal fugitives.
