OK throwing this out there for discussion, but keep in mind I don't know the rules about what road teams are allowed to wear (SEC rules or NCAA either one):
I loved the smokey gray unis. I know I wasn't supposed to, I'm certainly not their target audience, but dang every time I see a pic from that game the orange trim really pops in contrast to the gray and the unis are so sharp. Looks like our players are made out of steel. But home games are about ORANGE. Lots of it. So I'm wondering about a compromise where we keep two sets of raod uniforms that we can swap out based on who we're playing and how dark their colors are:
1) Primary road unis: All white (Stormtroopers)
2) Alternate road unis: Smokey Gray (Vols of Steel? Terminators? Needs a name...)
The grays would be tough to use against Georgia at Athens or Vanderbilt at the Franklin Shiny Dome, for example, but at LSU, KY or Bama they shouldn't cause any color confusion. It would be nice to bring them out once or twice a year.
Thoughts? Opinions? Some rules knowledge to drop?
