I know, I know, I know....it's the Braves A. I grew up wearing blue hats with it. But.......I still can't get orange anywhere near it. Scratch that. Don't get an A anywhere near my orange!

And my last name is an A!!!!

I'll never forget the day I was walking with my wife (originally a michigander) thru the mall looking for my parents a Christmas gift. We passed a sports memorabilia store and there was a door mat with a giant A on it. You know, mullet and all. She says, "oh, your dad would like that."

I said, "Woman, we need to talk."

I had some 'splainin to do.

I have zero problem wearing my Braves hat with a Vols shirt.

So, is anyone actually planning to go?

Acuña’s ACL, the Braves’ relief pitching, and the fact this game’s on a school night are conspiring to throw a wet blanket over the whole deal.

I recently backed out of plans to attend the Cincinnati series in Atlanta for the exact above reasons, in that order (work, not school).

I got the hat from the last time they did it. It's faded dark blue and fits great. It's been my go to hat ever since.

Not sure if I'll get this one or not.

What is weird is that the last time I was in the Braves Clubhouse store, there was a ton more Vandy crap than TN stuff. Don't know whether it was the Swanson effect or not, but on that day, there was very little TN gear.

BVS has forced many ATL Vols deep underground.

Also, I think the Braves VASTLY overestimated both the size of the Vandy alumni base and their enthusiasm for Dansby… and athletics in general.

Go for the pitching? Acuna didn’t get a hit when we went and saw Fried pitch against Trevor Bauer.
