Unsportsmanlike calls are biased!

I was watching a little of the GA-Vandy game today, and saw the Dawgs get teed up again for another unsportsmanlike penalty. A WR caught a pass, and did a little flip of the ball after he was downed. Everyone does this, and it shouldn't be a penalty.
Now I'm watching ARK-FL, and Tebow just converted a 4th and 2 play. He went NUTS--pumping his arms, smacking his helmet, gesturing at the defense, and so on.
WTF? Is he immune to the same penalties UGA is getting?
They need to fix this new rule before it bites UT the way it bit UGA against LSU.

I agree completely. That new rule is awful. So is the clock not stopping when they run out of bounds above 2 mins.

It's total BS that Tebow gets away with his celebrating game after game. He was even taunting the Arkansas sideline earlier in the game, no call of course.

Can't wait till Tebow gets caught driving a white van and wearing a clown suit. Headed to the airport to catch a plane to the Phillippenes.

It made Tebow look even more foolish when they fumbled the ball away on the very next play. That was comedy gold.

If a flip is tossing the ball 20+ yards as the UGA reciever did...

Anybody throws it 20 yards you are going to get the flag...no bias.

Tebow gets away with everything and is an exception, lol.

I'm not hating on him I just want everyone to be judged the same. When Tebow jumps up and down and acts like a child, its called leadership and when anyone else does it its called unsportsmanlike.

Saw the play, and that spike of the ball is unsportsmanlike conduct every day of the week, regardless of the perpetrator.

Fail.

I agree completly re: Tebow. Should have been a flag and it's got nothing to do with "hating" Tebow. That rule needs to be changed.

I agree about Tebow -- he gets away with 10x what other players have this year who have gotten flags.

every coach and player should know you can't flip the ball like that. that's always an automatic unsportsmanlike

Another BS unsportsman call in the USC -ND game. Can't even celebrate a friggin sack anymore.....

that leads to a ND TD.

Unsportsmanlike penalties are called too frequently. They should be 5-yarders instead of 15 anyway.

Even Gary Donaldson, half of CBS' Team Blow Tebow, admitted that the Personal foul called on Arkansas player was no worse that what Tebow does after big plays.

It's good stuff isn't it? :) I promise you, you will never see someone barf as hard as I will, the rest of the season, everytime I see that fake job he does trying to get his teammates fired up and contrived speeches in the locker room. God bless

I believe that the NCAA should adopt the same standards for unsportmanlike conduct that they have in the NFL. Let the kids get excited but when it comes to taunting you should get flagged. By those standards UGA doesn't get flagged and beats LSU and the golden boy gets flagged both today and the title game last year.

Agree. Golden boy was over the top in the first half and should have got 15.
