...please do not play prevent and rush only 4! I'd rather go down swinging, than sitting back and giving them a chance at a hailmary. Watching the end of the Florida game, we played prevent until the last two plays, both of which we got pressure rushing 5 with Banks as a SPY.

Better yet, lets kick their a$$ so bad, we don;t even have to worry!

I think we do what we often seem to do: secondary plays conservative, front 7 plays aggressive.

If Bryce has the ball with 2 minutes left and needing a TD or FG to win then we are screwed.

If WE have the ball up by 4 with a minute left though……burn all of our reminding timeouts to make Bama suffer longer (and to give the fans time to move closer to the barriers to the field) 😂

Amen, brother. There is no better pass defense than applying pressure that makes the QB react before he's ready. I'll go down on that ship every time. As Madden once said - "All a prevent defense does is prevent you from winning."

Well we forced him to beat us with his arm because we knew he couldn't & he didnt. We know what Bama's guy can do with his arm so don't expect the same approach

He might have though had they not rushed him those as last two throws. He had them on the move during the prior plays in prevent.

Because we are waiting for the game and thinking of scenarios that could arise. Add to that, that I watched the Florida and Pitt games today, and noticed the prevent almost cost us the game against FL, I was merely hoping to not see them go down that road again. As I said, I hope we kick their ass so bad, it doesn't come down to that.

Do you really think the coaching staff reads Volnation and cares what we think about scenarios ? So it’s a mute discussion…

It depends

Who has the ball?
How many timeouts does Bama have if any?
Where on the field is the O?
How good or bad has the pass game been?
How good or bad has the run game been?
Has Tennessee been able to get pressure?
Who is the QB?

There is no way to know what you need to do without knowing the entire situation.

We live in absolutes, I don't know what he might have done. I just know what he didn't do and that's win
