This may be a bit of a tougher schedule than one might believe upon first glance.
While Q'piac and La Salle don't seem all that formidable, the challenge is not simply the games, but the management of the roster leading up to the big series with ASU and the run up to the SEC schedule.
It will be interesting to see if we roll out a similar rotation versus Quinnipiac...some combination of Lee, Serrano and Williams...Hunter Martin may not be ready to return.
The La Salle series, we'll most certainly see some new faces. Saberhagen, Charpie, Marks, Peterson, Freeman, Vanderford and Eric Martin (injury) have not made an appearance yet this season.
Then it's a flight out to the West Coast to play a well rested ASU team.
Part of the challenge of this schedule will be the balance of keeping the positive momentum going, while getting some guys some experience and some guys some rest. Guys like Maddox and Simcox will likely have a day off in there somewhere so that guys like Rogers, Bily and Moberg get some playing time.
However it turns out, it's gonna be an interesting bunch of games.
GBO!
