Update on my mom

I spoke to my sister earlier tonight and found out that the doctors treated our mom for a urinary infection and anemia. My sister said that she spoke to my mom earlier today about going into a nursing home and she agreed. There is spot opening in a local one on Monday and they will put her in temporarily and she how she does and if she gets along okay they may release her to go back to her apartment. Medicare will take care of the first 20 days. Please keep my mom and family in our prayers. Thanks for all the support people. God Bless!

I know it sounds strange or borderline mean, but it is good that she agreed to go. At least now you know that she will have someone there to look out for her, when your family can't be there. I will continue to pray for your family.

glad to hear your mom is doing better and has a place to go those UTI'S are no fun so I hear, tell her to drink lots of cranberry juice. I'll keep your family in my prayers and continue to keep us posted.

Glad to hear your mother is improving. UNI's are no fun, my wife gets them at least a few times a year. Your family is still in our prayers. Thanks for the update.

My mom was placed in a nursing home yesterday. Not sure yet as to whether it will be temporary or permanent. She was treated for the following in the hospital-urinary tract infection, anemia and low potassium.
Thanks to all for the continued prayers! :thumbsup:
